Job Title: Resourcing Officer
Location: Llanion Park but will work across the Authority plus hybrid options
Hours and Contract: Part-time (0.6 FTE), fixed-term until March 2028
Salary: £31,586 - £33,366 pro rata
This job is funded through the Nature Networks Programme, delivered by the Heritage Fund on behalf of the Welsh Government
Make a lasting impact in Pembrokeshire National Park as a Resourcing Officer.
Pembrokeshire Coast National Park are looking for a passionate and proactive Resourcing Officer to join their People Services team. Based at Llanion Park and working across the Authority, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future workforce of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.
In this newly created role, you’ll lead on developing and delivering high-quality traineeship and apprenticeship programmes, working closely with schools, colleges, universities, and charities. Your work will help create meaningful employment pathways for local people, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, while supporting the Authority’s goals for sustainability, inclusion, and biodiversity.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams to identify workforce needs, streamline recruitment processes, and promote the Authority as an employer of choice. From designing structured work experience programmes to managing trainee placements and reporting on key performance indicators, your work will directly contribute to our mission of nurturing talent and supporting community development.
We’re looking for someone with strong communication, networking, and organisational skills, along with experience in recruitment and partnership working. A degree in a relevant field, a full driving licence are essential and B1 or B2 Welsh Language skills are essential, while volunteering and youth work or experience working in a school environment are desirable.
