Part time – 2 days per week (15 hours) – Permanent

We are seeking a part-time Administrator to support the day-to-day operations and educational programs at Castell Henllys. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a friendly team environment while contributing to the running of a unique site - facilitating schools, visitors, and the wider community.

The role is diverse and engaging, you’ll be involved in the coordination of school visits and ensuring accurate invoicing, for activities and services such as private group tours, birthday parties, and room hires. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing petty cash, and preparing payroll submissions for additional hours. Occasional reception and admissions counter cover during peak periods will also be part of your responsibilities.

This is a role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. If you enjoy working in a team and would take pleasure in helping a highly unique and enjoyable site thrive, we would love to hear from you.

Working pattern to be discussed with candidates - occasional work on weekends and bank holidays.

We are looking for someone who has:

Salary and Benefits:
A salary of £24,404 - £25,584 pro rata, per annum, minimum 25 days holiday rising to 30 days plus public holidays pro rata , generous local government pension scheme, great flexible working arrangements and career development opportunities.

Tirweddau Cymru Landscape Wales has an exciting opportunity for an individual to
guide and support the transformational change needed for the Designated Landscapes (DLs) in Wales to provide long term protection for nature.

The postholder will work with Tirweddau Cymru Landscapes Wales and the Deep Dive Designated Landscape Biodiversity Group to progress action to support DLs in contributing to the commitment to protect and effectively manage 30% of land (and seas) by 2030.

The postholder will apply knowledge of nature recovery, sustainable land use, and climate resilience strategies within a landscape management context to the work of the DLs in Wales

This role will advocate for positive socio-economic impacts, and ensures the integration of socio economic outcomes with inclusive and equitable environmental/landscape strategies.

The successful candidate will have a range of knowledge, skills and experience:
building relationships and collaboration,
stakeholder engagement and leadership,
national policy, and local delivery,
along with an understanding of the role of land management in tackling the climate and biodiversity crises.

The post holder will apply a strong understanding of global good practice in delivery and governance to the DLs in Wales , and advocate for supportive nature recovery policy within a landscape context.

The successful candidate will need to have experience of cross-organisation collaboration, working in partnership with multiple stakeholders, and cultivating effective working relationships that can make a real difference in the natural environment.

The successful applicant will be employed by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, however, can be based anywhere in Wales. Options for home working or being based in any of the eight Designated Landscapes will be considered. The successful applicant will need to travel across Wales.

The post will be politically restricted in accordance with the Local Government and Housing Act 1989

The post is funded by Welsh Government as part of the allocation to Landscape Wales.

We are now looking for a Buildings Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

The Role

As a Buildings Officer, you will support the maintenance and repair of Authority buildings, structures and surfaces and delivery of project work across the National Park.

Specifically, you will oversee the delivery of the maintenance and surfaces maintenance programmes, assist with capital projects, conduct detailed condition surveys, and uphold health and safety standards, throughout every stage of the work.

Liaising with contractors and internal teams, you will drive maintenance and project work to successful completion, delivering exceptional results on time and within budget.

Additionally, you will:

- Use our asset management system to plan, procure, deliver and monitor maintenance works
- Prepare project specifications, procure contractors and oversee delivery
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure the quality of workmanship
- Manage Health & Safety and project finances, including instructions, variations and payments

About You

To be considered as a Buildings Officer, you will need:

- At least three years’ post-qualification experience in a relevant role
- Experience managing maintenance and project works on varied property portfolios
- Experience conducting surveys and preparing detailed reports
- Knowledge of construction health & safety and CDM 2015 regulations
- Strong communication, data management, and organisational skills
- A degree in construction or a related field
- A full, valid driving licence
